Kranky cafe opened in the spring of 2010, right after Vancouver hosted the Winter Olympics. It is a local, independent coffee shop situated in the vibrant neighbourhood of Mount Pleasant. Being community oriented, its main focus has always been to bring people together. The cafe sells fair trade, organic, locally roasted coffee and the baked goods are made from scratch, in-house (gluten free and vegan options available). Breakfast and lunch menu include freshly made sandwiches, wraps, soup, salads and Jamaican patties.
