The Cairns Surf Life Saving Supporters Club was formed in July 1993 for the purpose of generating funds for the Cairns Surf Life Saving Club which was formed in 1924. It was first located on the Cairns Esplanade then moved to Yorkeys Knob. After a few years the club moved to its current location in Palm Cove and has never looked back. The Surf Life Saving Club uses the funds from the Supporters Club to educate, train and provide vital equipment for the 100+ Life Savers who patrol Palm Cove beach each year which is an essential volunteer service to our local community. We also have many other things around the club to keep you occupied like large screen, entertainment channels, pool table, kids PlayStation, kid’s activities packs, chocolate machine, gaming machines as well as the best view in Palm Cove.
