The first branch of Aux Delices Normands opened in 1995 in Berliner Straße in Zehlendorf. The croissants and tartes by the French founder and owner Didier Canet quickly became popular due to the high quality raw materials combined with a traditional bakery and confectionery craft. Within a few years, further branches followed on Neue Kantstrasse, Pfalzburger Strasse and Ihnestrasse. In addition to the sales area, a bistro with an attached ice cream parlor was created in Ihnestrasse, which has been offering home-made ice cream from the start.
