term “far from the madding crowd” has always held great appeal for me and is an appropriate way to begin describing the best eatery in GÜMÜŞLÜK. Down the beach –to right hand side- just a short walk (yet miles apart) from the strip of look-alike restaurants, sits GUMUSCAFÉ FISH RESTAURANT. The term “café” does no justice for this intimate little respite, which, in this writer’s opinion, offers the best of whatever any diner/traveller could want. Whether it is a meal to remember, a quiet place to sit and enjoy the wonderful bay over liquid refreshment or a romantic evening framed by sea sounds! Here, the owner Botan Günöz and his staff have thoughtfully considered virtually every detail of what makes a restaurant simply “The BEST” and provide that for their guests.
