You can get PIZZA on every corner, in almost every country. There are many different pizzas - thick, thin, soft, crispy, filled, fried... The choice is large and the variety is limitless. What many people don't know about pizza is that it is a specialty from Naples and, with a few minor changes, is made exactly the same way as it was 200 years ago. This specialty is even protected by EU regulation (97/2010) and has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site since the end of 2017 and is made according to strict rules in traditional craftsmanship. The special features of the Pizza Napolitana are the high edge and the soft base towards the middle, about four millimeters thick.
