The tradition of selling pies in Tabla, which was started by Baklava and Börek masters during the Ottoman period and extending to the present day, is still encountered in many cities in our eastern Anatolia region. This is why these crispy pastries made of special dough are called "Tabla Böreği" Böreği inde in their region.
