Metro Bar and Grill opened in 1997 on Cornwall Street and became an instant hit with the local business community as well as ladies that lunch. Over the years we have become an institution; one of the main reasons Metro acquired by Brandasia Group, a sister restaurant of Asha’s Indian Bar and Restaurant. Following a take over by Paul Bassi and Pawan Kenth in 2015 and a refurbishment of £250,000 in 2016, we have transformed ourselves into an even better Metro experience during the day time, serving our all time favourite lunch menu and sophisticated Thai cuisine in the evenings. The restaurant area with a seating capacity of 80 guests is complete with a huge blossom tree centrepiece and a glassed private dining room that seats 20 guests.
