DE: In Munich’s Hofbräukeller, located in the Haidhauser district, Bavarian traditions are kept alive and dutifully honoured. Restaurant Hofbräukeller serves up traditional meals, teamed with refreshing beer naturally served directly from the barrel. Alongside iconic Bavarian dishes such as Spanferlkelbauch (fried pork belly) with a dark beer sauce and roasted dumplings with onion and egg, as well as Munich-style Schnitzel, the menu has a more diverse take on Bavarian cuisine offering international dishes that range from penne with a bolognaise sauce, and antipasti, right through to Irish sirloin steak. For 15 years the Restaurant Hofbräukeller Munich has retained its Bavarian hospitality under the capable guidance of the Steinberg siblings. True to form, this restaurant in Munich is one that guarantees a welcoming atmosphere. Built in 1892, the building and its lovingly crafted rooms possess a delightful Bavarian flair. Naturally, their beer garden is a must too. Directly besides the park on the Isarhochsufer, the Restaurant Hofbräukeller stands opposite the S-Bahn station Wiener Platz. Munich city centre can be reached within six minutes and the nearest U-Bahn station (Max-Weber-Platz) is just five minutes away on foot.
