Had 2 days in Havana & wanted to experience authentic Cuban food. So glad that we found this paladar on TripAdvisor. Don’t let the outside fool you because once the door is opened, it is beautiful. We arrived 1 hour early, but was invited in for drinks. Since we were early, the owner (Hubert) was not there but as soon as he returned, he spoke with us & told us about his home. Once seated, we were served a delicious meal. I enjoyed the honeymoon chicken with a side of slaw (which was delicious & Hubert was gracious enough to share the recipe), rice & the best black beans that I have ever had. Wish we could have eaten every meal here, but only open for dinner.
