The restaurant TAVERNA was founded in 2007, with the aim of bringing to Mozambique the taste of true Portuguese gastronomy. In a typical Portuguese environment to the sound of fado, either live or on DVD, the concerts of the most popular Portuguese fado singers. We have 98 different dishes on our menu and different daily suggestions from the chef. We suggest you start your meal with our entrances composed by Cheese of the Sierra and Nice, Mushroom fried with Sausage, Paiola or Ham Pata negra, Lupines or even Pasta made every day of Seafood, Sardines or Tuna, if you just want to snack, we suggest Farinheira Alentejana or Alheira de Mirandela, Octopus or Cod Salad, Pica Pau de Vaca or Pork, Panado Octopus among others.
