Norð på Bjølsen is our first bakery. We opened Bjølsen Bakery in 2011, and stood all night baking the place and wondering if any first opening day would emerge. Half past seven, half an hour before we opened, the first wonderful guests began to line up outside, and at ten we were sold out for everything we had baked all night, the next few days we increased production, but all of Bjølsen poured in and it took several weeks before we were able to make enough buns and bread to satisfy the neighborhood. Bjølsen is our heart close and a wonderful place to have a cafe. In 2016 we refurbished, and in that connection we included Bjølsen into the Norð family. The baking is the same, the ingredients are local and the people are the same, but the name we have changed and the menu is a bit updated from when we started.
