It all started on a boardwalk by the sun-kissed beaches of Romagna on the Adriatic coast of Italy... A visiting American, taken by the sight of beautiful Norina vigorously preparing the dough by hand, coined the term Piadéra – the feminine of Piader (mixing the english for who crafts the Piada with the Rimini dialect).
