BEHER has been recognized as the company within the most awarded Iberian sector in the world, and this recognition is due to its commitment to the search for quality and continuous improvement, with the aim of offering the best Iberian products on the market. In addition, in BEHER farms we work with pure Iberian pigs, that is, both the mother and the father are of 100% Iberian breed, and all of them are inscribed in the Genealogical Book of AECERIBER-Association of Selective Swine Breeders of the Iberian Trunk- , which is officially approved, accredited and recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment, for the control of this census. Iberian acorn-fed pig fats have more than 55% oleic acid (mono-unsaturated). These fats, as demonstrated in rigorous scientific studies, produce a beneficial effect on blood cholesterol, leading to an increase in the rate of beneficial cholesterol (HDL) and reducing the rate of harmful cholesterol (LDL). Thus, BEHER acorn-fed Iberian products, in addition to having a flavor worthy of the most demanding palates, provide health benefits. The success of all the products also lies in the strategic location of the processing and curing facilities, since the continental climate of Guijuelo between the Sierras de Gredos and Béjar, makes the healing of the products optimal. All this added to the professionalism of the workers who are part of the BEHER family, make betting on BEHER products synonymous with betting on quality. This quality has been recognized this last year at the leading fair of the meat industry, IFFA 2016 held in Frankfurt every three years, where BEHER has won a special award in recognition of the highest quality product internationally, in addition to obtaining 20 medals Of gold and 2 of silver to all the products that he has submitted to the contest. In its evolution and improvement plan, Bernardo Hernández is committed to export and the opening of new markets, currently being present in more than 40 countries around the world, his presence in Italy, France, Germany and many of the Asian countries. But in addition to its expansion through export, BEHER products can be found in different parts of Spain and Europe, with the aim of bringing its wide range of Iberians to all types of consumers thanks to its exclusive and select gourmet stores, where BEHER products can be purchased, as well as tasting them in different formats such as snacks, taquitos, dishes; Accompanied by a good wine, thanks to the areas that it has enabled for consumption. The project began in 2014, when BEHER opened its first store in Madrid, on Calle Fuencarral, 106; And such was his success that he subsequently began to expand his stores throughout the rest of Spain, now bringing together 12 gourmet establishments, located in 11 cities: Madrid, Marbella, Fuengirola, Málaga, Zaragoza, Valencia, Mallorca, Alicante and Granada ; In addition to a local in Nuremberg (Germany) and another in Gibraltar.
