More than 335 years ago, the Wallon Jean de Chaine founded in Mannheim a tavern with attached brewery, which he named after the German translation of his surname Eichbaum. From this developed to today one of the largest and most efficient breweries of Baden-Wuerttemberg. Traditional Kurpfälzische brewing competence strictly according to the purity requirement of 1516 is the cornerstone for top beers - such as Ureich Premium Pils. As a regional assortment brewery, the range also includes export beer, wheat beer, light beer, non-alcoholic beers, cyclists and cellar beer. High-quality raw materials such as barley and hops, plus pure-breeding yeasts and mineral water-grade brewing water from three separate, approx. 130-meter deep wells give Eichbaum its unique taste. In addition to Eichbaum beers, the brewery's international core products include the Apostelbräu from Worms, Karamalz and Gerstel. The Eichbaum brewery is attractive for trade partners all over the world thanks to its high flexibility and large container competence.
