Lovenfosse, founded in 1989 by Martin Lovenfosse, aims at marketing sliced ​​and uncut pork carcasses for the distribution sector, butcher shops and the meat processing industry. In the beginning there was slaughter in Verviers and then, in 1994, to move to Fléron. In 2011, we settled in the Aubel slaughterhouse, which was more in line with the evolution of our company. From a few dozen pigs in 1990, Lovenfosse grew to 2,000 pigs in 2011. The company made steady progress and specialized in the boning, cutting and packaging of fresh meat. These activities represent 60% of our volume. The evolution of the profession and the 20 years of experience have allowed us to better estimate the current course. Today our cutting room has a capacity of 10,000 pigs per week. Our slaughterhouse allows 15,000 pigs to be slaughtered per week and the pre-packaging department can process up to 75 tonnes per week.
