HR: Kino Europa kultno je zagrebačko kino. Sagradila ga je 1924./25. godine bogata zagrebačka obitelj Müller prema nacrtu arhitekta Srećka Florshütza sa željom da se napravi najljepše, najvažnije i najmodernije kino na ovim prostorima. Kino Europa svečano je otvoreno 8. travnja 1925. projekcijom filma 'Nibelunzi' Fritza Langa te domaćeg filma 'Dalmacija, zemlja sunca'. Grad Zagreb otkupio ga je u listopadu 2007. nakon uspješne akcije Zagreb Film Festivala i Hrvatskog Filmskog Saveza "Daj mi kino". Hrvatska filmska i kulturna javnost te svi zaljubljenici u film apelirali su na gradske vlasti da otkupe ovu dvoranu i ostave je korištenju u filmske svrhe. Početkom 2008. upravljanje kinom Europa povjereno je Zagreb Film Festivalu s namjerom da kino postane regionalni centar filma i filmske umjetnosti. EN: Kino Europa is a cult theater in Zagreb. It was built in 1924/25. Kino Europa was officially opened on April 8, 1925, with the screening of the film 'Nibelunzi' by Fritz Lang and the local film 'Dalmacija, sunny earth'. The City of Zagreb bought it in October 2007 after the successful action of the Zagreb Film Festival and the Croatian Film Association "Give Me Cinema". The Croatian film and culture public and all those in love of the film appealed to the city authorities to pick up this hall and leave it to use for film purposes. At the beginning of 2008 the management of cinema Europe was entrusted to the Zagreb Film Festival with the intention of making the cinema a regional center for film and film art.
