The second place to be visited after Cumalıkızık, close to the city center of Bursa is the historical Misi village with a 2000-year history known today as the Gümüştepe neighborhood. It is believed that the first name of Gümüştepe Mahallesi is Misipolis. The origin of the word ıy Misi ”stems from the fact that the Misias settled here as a homeland and the Misi was chosen as the center of the missionary.
