In this building full of story, fill your small or big hunger while sipping a special beer or simply a good Pils “bien tirée”. A pleasant decoration, an open fire, vintage chandeliers and waiters will allow you to “play” tourist on this unique square that Victor Hugo loved so much. Former wooden house from the XIInd century owned by the family Serghuys, it has been bought by the corporation of the « GRAISSIERS » to become its head office. Finally rebuild in stone it resisted bombardments of 1695. They restored it in 1697 in the same style of “le Roi d’Espagne”. You can admire on the front of the restaurant a statue of Saint-Gilles, patron of the “Graissiers” and over the door a sign representing a wheelbarrow.
