In 1916, Turyağ, a continuation of a small fathouse established in İzmir Turan district, made investments for the production of vegetable margarines in the 20's and introduced the first vegetable margarine in 1932. In 2014, Cargill, the global food giant, was taken over by Turyağ, one of the leading vegetable oil producers in our country, with industrial and oil brands, integrated facilities, sales and marketing organization.
