Son idée de génie a été d’y implanter une île pour habiller le lac d’une aura de mystère. D’où la création du Chalet Robinson situé au cœur du Bois de la Cambre dans un espace insulaire, verdoyant et calme, loin de l’agitation de la ville pourtant si proche... Après avoir connu deux incendies, le Chalet renaît de ses cendres en 2009 et retrouve son délicieux charme d’autrefois. At the same time as the creation of Bois de la Cambre has been concieved by the landscape architect Edouard Keilig an artifical lake where could swim carps swans and ducks. His bright idea of building an island in the middle of it gave the pond a mysterious atmosphere. It’s on this island that has been built the Chalet Robinson, located in the heart of Bois de la Cambre in a green and quiet insular environment far away from the fuss of the city yet so close… After two fires, the Chalet rised from its ashes in 2009 in an elegant architectural style, using long-lasting materials keeping the charm of its past.
